The Hiker's Certificate

 

What is the hiker’s certificate ?


Far from a competition, it’s a wide-open event, that enables you to discover a region differently, in a friendly spirit, walking at your own pace. Local hikers clubs and tourist offices work together to prepare each event and offer a choice of 3 different routes :
  • Family route, approximately 8 to 10 kms
  • Average route, approximately 15 kms
  • Sports round, approximately 25 to 30 kms
New tracks are open and marked out especially for the occasion.

Before walking, we offer you a breakfast and refreshment points mark out your route.
Comfort after your effort : when you come back you receive a present and a collation.

Have your certificate stamped !

 2011 edition :

  • 1st may Marvejols
  • 22nd May : Lodève, starting from St Jean de la B.
  • 11th sept.Issoire
  • 18th sept. Saint-Chély d’Apcher
  • 2nd oct.Saint Flour -chateau d'Alleuze
  • 16th oct.Pézenas, starting from Mas du Novi, Montagnac !


    • Registration 5€ on Sunday morning

Competition Game
After the last date of the Green Gems hiker’s certificate, send back your certificate. If you have taken part in at least 5 hiking, you have a chance to win one of the following prizes (drawn prizes, one winner/family)

Prizes :
1st prize : 1 night B&B + dinner for two persons in 3 cities of the green gems network *
2nd & 3rd prizes : 1 night B&B + dinner for two persons in 2 cities of the green gems network *
4th to 10th prizes : 1 basket “7 tastes”
11th to 15th prizes : 1 Michelin guide of the A75
